- Why you should be there
This isn't just a film.
It's a movement.
The Guinness World Record for the largest simultaneous film audience has never been broken in Africa. On September 26th, 50,000 people will gather at Tafawa Balewa Square to change that forever.
🏆
You'll be in the history books
When the record is broken, everyone in that crowd becomes part of it. Not a spectator, not a participant. That’s something no streaming service can give you.
🎬
A moment Nigerian Cinema deserves
Black Market is proof that we can tell our stories and the world will watch. Being there on opening night is a vote for what Nigerian film can become.
🤝
We’re making history together
When the record is broken, everyone in that crowd becomes part of it. Not a spectator, not a participant. This is our record to break, together.
- BLACK MARKET
Every transaction
has a price
In the chaos of fuel scarcity and rising pressure, five market women run a tight, well-oiled smuggling operation across the Nigerian border. Each plays her part. The system works.
When a rival kidnaps Adesua’s daughter and threatens to burn everything down, the crew faces their most dangerous job yet, one wrong move and they lose more than the money. They lose each other.
